Agus Purnomo (April 2010)

Where: Bonn 2010: 11th AWG-KP & 9th AWG-LCA

Indonesian chief climate change negotiator, Agus Purnomo, explains to Climate-Change.tv his concern over the recruitment process for the next head of the UNFCCC. He further questions whether there actually are people outside of the UN who would be able to fulfil the criteria, and wonders if this will stop the best person from being recruited. He also discusses the key challenges in the run-up to Mexico, noting in particular the need for trust building.
