Alden Meyer (April 2009)

Where: Bonn 2009: 7th AWG KP & 5th AWG LCA

Alden Meyer, the director of strategy and policy for the Union of Concerned Scientists, talks about how climate models work and what they imply about future changes to the climate and why these changes appear to be failing to add urgency to negotiations. He also discusses what can be done to educate the public about climate change and summarises some technological advances that could play a role in the process going forward. Also see Mikael Rattenborg, Director of Operations, Eumetsat, speaking from Copenhagen
