David Turnbull (August 2010)

Where: Bonn 2010: 13th AWG KP & 11th AWG LCA

David Turnbull, Director of Climate Action Network International, explains how the negotiations are are moving towards the text, paragraph by paragraph. But it needs to go faster. He says we now need to see convergence. He sees that developed countries need to be more ambitious and more responsible. He urges for creativity and flexibility especially from the EU over their targets. He reminds us of the need to be fair. On the US, he agrees it's tough, but mentions that the US will stick to their targets regardless of the Senate.
