Isabelle Coche (July 2010)

Where: Sydney, Australia

Isabelle_Coche Isabelle Coche, spokesperson for Farming First, talks about the work of the organisation around food security and climate change - so "farmers can have sustainable living and still feed the world". In particular she talks about their recommendations to the negotations around adopting the Work Plan, and from there looking to see how it can be integrated into the mechanisms under discussion. She explains how it is a simple decision that can be agreed early on, which will make later work easier. One of the important elements is around measuring and methodology on emissions and carbon capture. She finishes on explaining how the very nature of multi-stakeholder coalitions makes them valuable.
