Jan Egeland

Jan Egeland talks about his co-chairship of the high-level task force for climate services for vulnerability communities worldwide. He says that they have agreed how and in what manner to set up a climate prediction system. He explains how science currently well serves China, the US and Europe well, but that the most vulnerable are the least well covered. Those who did the least to cause climate change are the least well protected. Climate services include issues such as drought, not weather and earthquakes. He discusses the predictability of predictions, how this helps with adaptation and the way investment will happen.
