Antigua and Barbuda’s John Ashe, United Nations Ambassador and chair of the AWG on the Kyoto Protocol, talks about efforts to reduce emissions among Annex I countries in the period after 2012, when the first commitment period of Kyoto Protocol expires, and the need to step up what he called “inadequate” pledges from developed countries, including protests from the Africa Group.
