Japanese delegate Kuni Shimada, chair of the technology group, responds to questions on the likelihood of an agreement. He talks about his frustration over the speed of the process. He suggests the ministers focus more on issues of substance and less on procedure. He explains how the European Union and Japan are trying to build on and develop the Kyoto Protocol and reiterates the need for a strict timeline.
