Makio Miyagawa (April 2009)

Makio Miyagawa discusses the notion of convergence on issues including the Kyoto Protocol track and the Long-term Cooperative Action track and between rich and poor countries heading toward the Copenhagen meetings. He says the process should focus on the issue of how to save the earth, and not on saving the Kyoto Protocol. Miyagawa is the deputy Director General for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in Japan.
