Sirkka Haunia (August 2010)

Where: Bonn 2010: 13th AWG KP & 11th AWG LCA

Sirkka Haunia, chief negotiator of the Finnish delegation, suspects some countries have redefined their positions. She says there's a lot of anxiety about how to progress to the next COP and the final destination for the global agreement. She discusses the EU's contribution, and notes the pressure for the EU to move to 30%, but that other countries are not being pressured in the same way. She finishes on observing that we are now talking about the "fate of the world".
