Snaliah is a youth delegate from St Lucia. She is at COP to network with youth from SIDS, to share experiences and learn from each other. She talks about St Lucia’s youth climate justice campaign 1.5 to Stay Alive. The aim of the campaign is to tell the world that SIDS needs 1.5 or less to have a chance for survival. Snaliah tells climate Home that in St Lucia they have held public consultations across the island, worked with artists to produce poetry, songs and films to tell everyone what climate change is, what it means and how they can join the movement. Finally, Snaliah wants the world to know SIDS have a voice and are not invisible. Her message for ministers is: We all want a future, fight for that future and do all that you can to assure that future for young people and everybody across the world.
