Rio+20 (22/06/2012) – Silvio Barros, Mayor of Maringá talks about some of the good examples which can be seen in the city on sustainable development and also the importance of using Rio+20 to share information and make use of the best practices of different cities to make them the reality for Brazil.
He says the most important aspect of sustainable development at city level is the involvement of he community, saying you can not succeed on this by working top-down and that people must get involved, get interested and be empowered.
