Rio Conventions Pavilion TV, CBD COP11 (18/10/2012) – Professor P. G. Philip, Associate Professor of Chemistry at Mar Thorma College, discusses how he integrates tackling biodiversity challenges with his work as a chemistry teacher.
Philip says that he is optimistic about the results of COP11, especially informal collaboration facilitated by side events.
Philip states that he teaches the importance of biodiversity in his job as a chemistry teacher. He argues that, in general, young people are receptive to classes on environmental issues and that some have undertaken projects in their community as a result.
