Katharine Eaton, from the Earth Journalism Network, explains how this was developed to empower journalists from developing countries in environmental reporting. She explains how they don’t always have the editorial or financial support to cover conferences like Cancun, and thus hold governments to account and inform their public. At Copenhagen, out of 4,000 journalists, the Earth Journalism Network was responsible for bringing the only media representative from Pakistan.
