Mobilization of Resources and Synergy of Interventions on the Great Green Wall
According to the terms of Article 4 of the Convention of 17 June 2010 establishing the PAGGW, its tasks are
to coordinate, the monitoring of achievements and the mobilization of resources for the benefit of the Great
Wall Initiative for the Sahara and the Sahel in the band between the isohyets 100 and 400 mm from Dakar
to Djibouti. To this end, the mobilization of resources and the synergy of interventions on the Great Green
Wall is a theme with the overall objective of giving more visibility to the GGW through communication
between the different stakeholders, share information on the current state of resource mobilization and
propose appropriate solutions. This event will integrate the dimension of all the federating strategies such
as the Multi-State Integrator Program (MSIP), the Regional Program and the UNEP GEF Support Program
to the GGW as frameworks for synergy of actions.
