COP20 (05/12/14) – Grace Balawag of Tebtebba discusses indigenous peoples’ relationship with climate change, as those who contribute the least to the problem, but as among those most impacted by it.
She talks about the areas of the talks that indigenous groups are campaigning on, in particular the need for sufficient protection of their human rights, especially in the context of REDD +, and recognition of the importance of traditional knowledge in combating climate change.
