COP20 (10/12/14) – Stefano Mannacio talks to RTCC about COBASE, an independent scientific body focusing on urban climate change. He discusses their upcoming side event looking at the role of “Electrical cities and Agroecological and Ecoproductive Parks” in combating climate change and talks about his organisation’s main findings. He stresses the need to increase biodiversity in cities and the role of indigenous knowledge in facilitating this and creating cities that are far more sustainable.
