Max and Donald introduce the Connect for Climate project and high impact communications outreach initiative. The project focuses on engaging influential industries such as film, sport and fashion with youth voices on climate change. Max tells us about some of their recent competitions including the Film a Day for Climate Action where on November 29th at the global mobilisation they partnered with Vimeo to aggregate videos expressing what youth wanted to see happen at COP21. Donald tells us about the success of a youth climate change shorts competition involving the film industry that resulted in a charter of film studios committing to reduce the carbon footprints of film production. Finally, Max tells us they are at COP21 to elevate the voices of youth through the launch of their social media campaign #youthforclimate which culminated with yesterday’s Youth Day.
