David talks about the challenges of communicating climate change effectively to the public in a way that is relevant. He explains how talking about climate change in scientific terms disconnects people from it. At the UNFCCC he is working on the Action for Climate and Empowerment Agenda and chaired the intergenerational enquiry between young people and UNFCCC officials. He emphasises the importance of youth engagement and voices at COP21 and tells us that this year it has been the strongest it has ever been. David is also working climate change education through informal and formal networks and explains this year at COP was the first ever Education Day.
