Andreas Fischlin

Andreas Fischlin, from the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology in Zurich, talks about the contrast between research and negotiations on climate change, and the IPCC report and its impact on the negotiations. He is “flabbergasted” at the way people ignore science, and says observers should be more frightened at world prospects. Fischlin says governments’ attitudes toward confronting climate is “ludicrous” and outlines what he believes must happen and the role of climate change doubters.
