Rio+20 (18/06/12): Alfredo Cabral the Director at Vertica speaks to Pavilion TV about his views on how businesses should approach sustainability.

Cabral believes that sustainability in businesses can be achieved largely by integration of local communities into new markets. He believes this does not happen currently as there is no incentive for businesses to do so as they can save money by getting skilled labour from other places.

Cabral speaks of the need for governments to get involved and encourage use of local enterprises in larger companies. He also speaks of how businesses can benefit financially from a green economy.
