Rio+20: Forestry management in Turkey

Rio+20 (19/06/2012) – Lise Yildiray, UNDP Turkey talks about the projects he has been involved in on the ground in Turkey.

Heralded as one of the best practices in Turkey, Yildiray is at Rio+20 to share with other countries the project he has been involved with in Turkey since 2008.

The aim was to set up and focus on forest protected areas in Northern Turkey in order ot create a model in better management and sustainable resource management within national parks. He hopes to the projected can be replicated across the country.
