Rio+20: Rio Pavilion offers platform for collaboration

Rio+20 (20/06/2012) – Tim Christophersen, Forest Biodiversity Officer, UNCBD talks about why the Rio Pavilion is so important to the Rio+20 conference.

He says it is time that the conventions changed from the think tank where they think about and discuss sustainable development to being a do tank, where they implement actions on the ground and say the Pavilion offers a great opportunity for groups to come together – around a series of thematic days – and collaborate on new solutions, ideas and case studies of how projects have worked on the ground.
