Rio+20: Lessons on sustainable development from UAE

Rio+20 (21/06/2012) – Thani Ahmed Al Zeyoudi, Director of Energy and Climate Change UAE talks to Pavilion TV about the work the 40-year-old country is doing on sustainable development. He says despite having one of the largest oil reserves in the world, the country is investing in renewable energy, a nuclear power programmes as well as energy efficiency project and CCS research and development.

He says the country it at the conference to share the work being done in their country with other nations and delegation and to help produce a balanced text for the outcome of the conference.
