Cecile introduces the project Earth Savers who work with youth affected by climate change in the Philippines to use arts and media as tools to motivate and involve people in collective action for climate change. The project is a tool for healing and self-transformation by victims and survivors who have become mentally and physically handicapped by climate change disasters such as Typhoon Haiyan. Artists work with Earth Savers vulnerable groups such as out of school youth, disabled youth and indigenous youth, helping empower these groups to have a voice. Cecile shows us some art work by disabled people and out of school youth that reflect on the 17 sustainable development goals.
