Energies 2050 is a French NGO taking a systemic approach to sustainable development, climate change, buildings, carbon finance and energy. Their involvement in the COP process entails working with La Francophonie countries producing guides for the negotiations and supporting 7 African countries in developing their INDCs. Stephane explains the challenges of a country like Togo who contributes almost nothing to global carbon emissions and their need to develop a low carbon economy. Energies help them develop confidence in a resilience and adaptation approach to development that allows them to embrace cities, buildings, energy and agriculture. Stephane wants to see trust and transformation in the COP process, he thinks its need concrete action in order to make the process credible.
