Prince Goodluck works with young people in Nigeria through the United Nations of Youth Network focusing on mitigation, adaptation and sustainability projects. He talks to Climate Home about their Catch Them Young TOT project which is a tree planting initiative working with primary and secondary school children who then pass on this training and knowledge to their peers. Prince Goodluck explains deforestation in Nigeria has decreased due to public awareness campaigns like these. Finally, he shows some photos of the UN information centre in Nigeria where they held civil society mobilisation event in preparation for COP21 so they gather the stories of the public and articulate the challenges Nigerians face in this year’s conference.
