Rio+20: Sustainability a necessity for architects

Rio+20 (14/06/2012) – Marco Casamonti, Architect at the University of Genova explains how sustainability is not an option for architects but a necessity to build a strategy for the future.

With between 30-35% of all energy use coming from our day-to-day living and our buildings, Casamonti believes architects now have a mission to save energy in the designs of their building and to use natural sources of energy including wind and the sun.
