COP18: Encouraging environmental education across the world

COP18 (29/11/12) – Rishabh Lohiya and Louisa Peters from Youthinkgreen talk about the work they are doing helping to educate young people on climate change across 12 countries.

They talk about some of their projects including one in Germany which ran a week long scheme in a primary school on the topics of CO2 and recycling, making it easy and fun for young people to learn about climate change and feel responsible for their environment.

Another of their projects based in India aims to help tackle the issue of waste management by encouraging school children and their families to learn about proper waste management.

They also talk about their work in Doha, both connecting with a local school and also within the COP fighting to get young people, below the age of 18 admitted for future conferences.
