COP18 (03/12/12) – Nina Netzer from Friedrich Ebert Stiftung explains why it is important not just to discuss the technical issues around climate change but to assess the changes in lifestyle and the economy required to tackle the climate problem.
She stresses that while many of these issues must be tackled domestically, such as energy policy, it is only through a reliable international network of negotiations that the world’s poorest can be included in the debate in a way that ensures solutions are fair.
