COP18: Arming children with the tools to tackle climate change

COP18 (04/12/12) – Robert Insingoma, Country Director, Eco-Schools, CECOD talks about his work with the younger generation trying to create future leaders.

He says the Eco-Schools aim to empower children and aid them with the competencies to tackle issues affecting livelihoods. He says as well as academic studies, Eco-Schools tackle issues such as land management and energy management.

He said he focuses on practical learning. He says they aim to take children out of the class a provide them with hands on experience.
