Climate change is about intergenerational fairness, says WWF’s Global Climate & Energy Initiative Leader Samantha Smith. Speaking at Scotland’s inaugural Climate Justice summit, Smith says every day she wakes up and thinks about the kind of world she will leave her children. “What we know from science is that they and other young people will grow up in a world of more drought, heatwaves, more flooding and higher temperatures and an ocean environment that may be ruined beyond repair.”
