COP19 (14/11/2013) – Anders Österlund, Director, AkzoNobel, talks about his global chemical and coatings company currently at the top of the Dow Jones Sustainability Index, and how he is committed to continuing to improve the company’s energy efficiency.

He says that although his company consumes a lot of energy, he is seeking to improve its renewable energy portfolio, especially since it  already works on wind projects in the Nordic.

He says that a company’s reputation is very important as shareholders and the general public are interested in how companies are operating. Therefore, he says, there is a high interest among businesses about the outcome of the COP 19 negotiations.
