COP 19: Pak Oasis’s David James on solar & clean water solutions in Pakistan

COP19 (14/11/2013) – COP19: David James, International Trade Manager at Pak Oasis, talks about successful projects in Pakistan where his company have brought clean water to over six million people.

Last year, the company inaugurated its first ever solar powered desalination plant and is now in the process of converting at least half of all its plants to using solar to generate electricity.

Pak Oasis was founded in 2005 and declared a human rights organisation by he UN in 2010.

James says his company is demonstrating what the business world can do in adapting to climate change.
