Heather has been working on sustainable transport since COP9 and tells Climate Home that she has seen enormous progress being made in this sector. This COP21 a high level session on sustainable transport made progress in federating the sector and putting differences aside to unite under the climate change theme showing political will to create change. Heather tells us sustainable transport solutions are available and it is really important that in the next 10 years transport is low carbon and sustainable because the emission from this sector are so significant. Finally, she hopes COP21 will result in climate finance mechanisms for sustainable transport and greater recognition that this sector has to play in the negotiations
