Rio+20 (16/06/2012) –Travis Sinckler, Senior Environment Officer, Government of Barbados talks to Pavilion TV about the major problems facing the island nation in terms of marine pollution, warming waters and coral bleaching, over fishing and the added problems of unpredictable weather patterns from climate change.
He also talks about the work being done by the country to limit the impact of the majority of the population living in coastal areas, as well as the regional schemes promoting collaboration across the Caribbean and Pacific in terms of fishing resources and marine governance.
