Hasrat Arjjumend, Grassroots Institute, India, interview: Rio Conventions Pavilion, CBD COP11, 15/10/2012 – Hasrat Arjjumend, acting director of the Grassroots Institute, India, says that despite 40% of biodiversity being found in agricultural fields, the topic receives little attention at the CBD.

The focus of academics and politicians alike has been firmly on oceans and forests rather than agrobiodiversity, says Arjjumend, however he is optimistic that that is beginning to change.
