COP19 (14/11/2013) – Anna Inger Roe Rasmussen and Charlotte Holm-Hansen, University of Copenhagen, talk about the link between climate change and health.

On Saturday 16 Novemer, a global climate and health alliance will meet to discuss how climate change is an exacerbater of both health and development issues for people around the world. They say it is urgent we bring this topic to the fore right now because we still have time to act.

Rasmussen and Holm-Hansen say global action needs to be taken to reduce emissions, implement early warning systems for weather and disaster prepardness strategies.
