Bishop Efraim M Tendero, World Evangelical Alliance

The World Evangelical Alliance is a global movement of 600 million evangelicals calling for climate justice. The Bishop is from the Philippines and has experience climate change impacts such as Typhoon Haiyan. For him climate justice is about calling on more developed countries who have emitted the most carbon and have a moral responsibility to help developing countries like the Phillipines who have emitted the least and are the most vulnerable. He thinks developed countries must try to have a more simple lifestyle so that others can simply live, and share their economic prosperity by contributing to the green climate fund. He believes that religious leaders have influence on political leaders as religious leaders can influence the public who vote for their political leaders
