African anger at lack of climate finance

A lack of concrete funding pledges is hitting efforts in Africa to mitigate and adapt to climate change.

“Our countries face the challenge of extinction, a crisis of survival. At worst they may have to borrow money again from developed countries.

“This would mean they would pay interest again, and push them back down to the depths we have found ourselves in.”
