COP19 (18/11/13) – Ingrid Reumert, VP, Public Affairs & Sustainability at Velux, a leading manufacturer of roof windows believes it is necessary for business to be a part of these negotiations.

The building sector releases around 35% of total CO2 emissions and over 40% of the energy consumed also comes from this sector. She Reumert believe the solutions to cutting emissions are there, it’s just a question of people acting on them.

She says these solutions do not have to be particularly high-tech, but there are simple things than can be done to improve energy efficiency.
