COP19 (16/11/13) – Industry group World Bioenergy Association’s Executive Director Karin Haara disagrees with accusations that producing biofuels increases food prices.

She says that both fuel and food can be produced at the same time on the same land like in China for example. There, farmers grow rice and the waste is used for fuel providing those communities with a double income.
